"Bring Your Own Spirits"

     Rockport is a "dry town," which means that it is illegal to sell alcoholic beverages here. It is fine to bring alcohol into town, though, and we at The Lobster Pool invite you to bring your own alcohol to enjoy with our dinners. We don't add on any surcharges or "corking fees" to the bill when you bring your own.

"Out-of-staters" should note that in Massachussetts package stores are closed on Sundays.

Also note that we do not sell ice, so you might want to bring some of that as well.

Closest Package Stores

     If you are coming to Rockport from downtown Gloucester, then the last package store before entering Rockport is "Seabreeze Liquors", locate .5 miles after the second rotary, at 127 Eastern Ave. (MAP)

     If you are taking the shortcut directly from Route 128, then the last package store is "Lanesville Package Store", located 1.5 miles before you reach The Lobster Pool, at 1080 Washington St (Route 127), (MAP)
