Halibut Point State Park , our neighbor, is simply amazing. Looking seaward on a clear day, the view stretches from Crane Beach in Ipswich to Mount Agamenticus in Maine and the Isles of Shoals off the coast of New Hampshire. Don't miss the park's trails, tidepools and rocky ledges.

If you're looking to do some whale watching, we recommend going with Cape Ann Whale Watch. They have topside sundecks, which offer spacious viewing, plus fully stocked galley area serve homemade chowders, snacks, beer, coffee, film and more.

The Paper House: Located just up the road, at Pigeon Cove, there is a house made of Boston newspapers!! Mr. Elis F. Stenman, a mechanical engineer who worked in a machine shop in Lynn, built the house as a hobby, starting in 1922 and continuing for 20 years. The house is filled with newspaper walls and newspaper furniture hand made over a 20 year period!

Wolf Hollow: Located about 5 miles up the coast, in Ipswich, Wolf Hollow offers a unique opportunity to view gray wolves in as natural a setting as possible.  See how they interact with their pack members and live in a social unit very similar to human families.
