BBQ Lobster Recipe:
20 Minute or Less Cook Time

You love the taste of barbecue lobster, but you don't want to go to a fancy restaurant that's overly priced. There's always the option of making this delicious dish right in the comfort of your home.

Before we get started, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 2 lobsters
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100g of butter

BBQ Lobster Instructions

Before we dive right into the steps to make your lobster, you'll want to cut your lobster in half and finely dice your garlic. From here, you want to follow these steps:

  1. Place the butter and garlic into a bowl, and mix them until it creates a fine paste.
  2. Place your lobsters on your BBQ on high heat (shell side down).
  3. Brush the butter paste onto the lobster, leaving just a little bit leftover.
  4. Cover the lobsters when possible.

You'll need to cook a small lobster for 5 to 10 minutes, while a larger lobster can take up to 20 minutes to cook. You'll know that the meat is cooked when the lobster goes from a transparent color to a white color. At this point, you'll want to flip the lobster over, so that the meat is grilled on the barbecue for approximately one minute.

Finally, you'll brush the remainder of your garlic and butter mixture onto the meat before serving it to your guests.

This is the perfect dish for a summer salad, and it goes very well with a loaf of bread. If you're having trouble cutting up the lobster, follow these five steps to cut your lobster to perfection:

  1. Place the lobster on a cutting board, and stretch its tail straight.
  2. Cut down the underside of the body.
  3. Slide the knife down all the way to the tail, and cut downward.
  4. Turn the lobster over, and cut from the head down to the tail directly in the middle.
  5. Pull the lobster apart and clean.

Now, all that's left to do is enjoy the taste of your BBQ lobster.
